Welcome to the
TYPO3 Dallas Users Group
We gather around a common interest in web development using the TYPO3 Content Management System. Made up of developers around Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas, our meetings are held once a month and are relaxed, come-and-go-as-you-please kind of affairs. Sometimes we have entire group discussions on web/TYPO3 topics, but mostly we hack on code and help each other with programming/typoscript challenges. At times, members contact each other during the month to gain insight into particular issues. We have found that having people you can call on makes it much easier to quickly get a handle on the power of TYPO3.
No one knows everything about TYPO3 and its 1900+ extensions (not even Kasper) but each of us knows some of the pieces. Time and again in the Dallas users group, we have combined our pieces and saved each other hours of time in unleashing the full power of the system. Often, it is one person suggesting to another the 2-3 lines of code that makes it all come together.
TYPO3 can be learned on your own (many of us started that way), but why do that to yourself if you do not have to? If you are in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, then please join us (one of our corporate supporters even provides us lunch).
For more information, please feel free to contact Ron Hall via e-mail here.
Normally we meet once a month. Come and go as you please between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Lunch is provided. Contact Ron Hall via e-mail here to find out date and location of our next meeting.
